UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DURHAM TRUST

University College Durham Trust

About us

University College Durham Trust is a British registered charity (number 1151821) founded in 1990 to enable friends and alumni of University College, Durham to provide financial support directly to the College for the benefit of current and future students.

Since its establishment, the Trust introduced a range of student hardship funds, scholarships and internships, as well as giving funds to help preserve the heritage and fabric of College buildings for generations to come. Thanks to the generosity of our community we make around 100 student hardship and opportunities awards each year. The Trust’s funding has also been essential in enabling us to renovate the West Courtyard areas, to restore the Tunstall Chapel and to embark on the Fellows' Garden and North Terrace restoration projects.

We are really grateful for the continued support of our alumni and friends - gifts of all sizes ensure that we can continue supporting University College and its' students and build a thriving community.
